Roseville Community Concert Band

ROSEVILLE COMMUNITY CONCERT BAND:

 The Roseville Community Concert Band was established in 2000 by Bill Hastings, a retired military band director.  In July of 2007, Stephanie Sugano became director of the band. Ms. Sugano is a graduate of UC Davis and received her Master's Degree in Instrumental Conducting from CSU Sacramento in 2008. She currently teaches music at Cooley Middle School in the Roseville City School District.

OUR MISSION:

  • Provide an opportunity for members of the general public ranging from talented students to senior adults who have an interest in music and the appropriate skills to participate in performances.

  • Present public performances on a regular basis for an outlet of the participants musical skills to be appreciated.

  • To enhance the artistic enrichment of the community at various civic and community events.

  • Promote public appreciation of concert wind band music and the variety of musical styles performed.


REHEARSAL LOCATION:

Cooley Middle School - 9300 Prairie Woods Way (at Blue Oaks)

Performing Arts Building (Right of Administration)

 

REHEARSAL TIMES:

Every Thursday - 7:00 - 9:00 pm \ September to June

 


Summer Band Camp

The Roseville Concert Band is sponsoring a Band Camp at Cooley Middle School, June 22nd through June 25th. All student musicians are welcome for a great time. Cost is $75.00. Contact Stephanie Sugano at stephsugano@aol.com.

Summer Sightreading Band

Roseville Community Concert Band will provide a Sightreading Band on Thursday Evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm starting on July 9th through August 13th. Great opportunity to improve your skills. $30 fee
